Branding for Gin & Beer, an independent concept bar in SE London. Specialising in the finest gins and best Belgium beers.
Moving away from the conventionally heritage inspired cocktail bars, I was tasked with creating a bold and modern take on the identity. Using a simple and direct approach to the colour palette and typographic treatment, helped reflect the key contemporary and straight forward principles of the bar.
The brand creates a unified visual identity across all aspects of the space. From producing uncluttered menus, to the smaller details such as bar mats and promotion materials.

Hogarth Prints
Alongside the branding concept and continuing the look and feel of the space, I produced large prints to be hung on the walls based on William Hogarth's infamous Gin Lane and Beer Street illustrations from the 1700's.
Taking inspiration from The NewYorker style covers and reflecting the positive and relaxed atmosphere of Gin & Beer, I designed the characters to have a more contemporary feel which progressed from the traditional etching styles.
